Hello. I have been setting up an i2XD with Windows 10 for KWSF. I struggled with getting it to even boot. I eventually did get it to boot though, and here’s what I did:
A computer
Ventoy, preferably (though any plain USB will work!)
Hiren’s Boot CD PE: https://www.hirensbootcd.org/
The IntelliSTAR 2 image from https://9dcrew.org
Download Hiren’s Boot CD PE.
If you use Ventoy or another similar solution, copy the ISO directly to your drive. You are done, proceed to step 2.
If you don’t use Ventoy, download Rufus. Open it up, select your drive, and select the ISO file. Then click Start.
Once it finishes, close Rufus. You are done, proceed to step 2.
Enter your HackintelliSTAR’s boot menu. This is usually done with something like F12. For HP, you can use the Startup Menu with ESC.
Select the USB with Ventoy or the HBCD ISO you flashed. If you’re using Ventoy you will need to select the ISO from the list.
Wait for HBCD to kick you to the desktop.
